The history of the Pension Haus Simone begins as early as 1936, when the grandfather of today's  Owner, Oscar Radig, built the house on the property Schreberstr. 16 in Berlin-Zehlendorf as House for three parties and moved there with his family.

During the war years the house burned down to the ground and was completely re-established. Immediately after the end of World War II, the Soviet military took advantage of the  temporary home for some officers.

The couple Radig operational later in the middle of Zehlendorf, the restaurant "Alter Krug" until this Operation of the parents of the current owner has been taken.

In the early 70s it was decided to no longer operate the old jug further. About this time it will be continuead as a cozy Greek restaurant "Taverna Kreta" (http://www.taverna-kreta.de).
